All of this nonsense is being driven by a desire to create an excuse for why urban blacks, and to a lesser extent Hispanics, routinely fail at living responsible lives where they succeed and don’t rob and kill others. Rather than accept the truth, which is that their own behavior, driven by factors like thug culture, is at the root of their own problems, mostly-white Leftists are trying to make people believe that urban black failure is caused by “systemic racism.” But to get there, they HAVE to eliminate all attempts to examine the problem logically and objectively, because rational, fact-based analysis would quickly reveal that racism has nothing to do with their cultural failure. In its place, these Leftists attempt to substitute subjective feelings and emotions (but only of the “victims”). This is where the “lived experience” idiocy comes from.

A companion to this lunacy is the drive to empty the prisons, eliminate cash bail, reduce or eliminate legal consequences for certain crimes, and defund the police. All that is is a way to escape scrutiny of the huge disparity in crimes committed by blacks versus others. If you never charge black people with crimes or put them in jail in the first place, then eventually the crime statistics will appear to even out. Disparity?…what disparity? It’s like magic.
