Well Trump nominated Powell to be Fed Chair. Trump disagreed with him later on, but Powell isn’t some leftist who wants to destroy capitalism.
Also, you can tell a lot by a man’s enemies. Powell is hated by the ‘progressive’ Democrats. Elizabeth Warren calls him a danger to America, Bernie Sanders has opposed him for years, and AOC and the rest of ‘The Squad’ can’t stand him.
