President Joe Biden appeared to have a “Ron Burgundy” moment on Tuesday while reading a speech about gas prices off a Teleprompter.
Biden was compared to the fictional newscaster from the movie “Anchorman” when he recited the words “end of quote” after referencing a statement from the CEO of Walmart.
“And, by the way, you may have heard the CEO of Walmart yesterday on the steps we’ve taken. He said, and I quote, ‘The combination of private enterprise and government working together has been really successful,'” Biden said in the speech.

I don’t know if this is as big a faux pas as a lot of people think it is. He started the quote with “and I quote”. What’s wrong with saying “end of quote” when he is finished? If he doesn’t say “end of quote”, how is one to know he is finished with the quote and that the rest of what he is saying is independent of the quote? The guy’s a vegetable, but this seems like no big deal to me.
So? It’s not as if the guy is running things.

“But the fact is we’ve faced even worst spikes before just in the last decade. We saw it in 2012 when the price of gasoline hit $3.90. We saw it in 2014 when it hit $3.69. And re- — as recently as 2019, we saw it surpass $3 in many places.” (No COVID excuses in 2012 and 2014)
Does anyone think it is ironic that BIDEN called himself and OBAMA out. Is anyone interested in asking Joe, “is it coincidental that “worst spikes in the last decade” were in 2012 and 2014 and here we are now with another “spike” in 2021, all under BIDENS and OBAMAS watch.

The real scandal is that Biden is crowing about how his administration is fascist. Because that's what seperates commies from fascists. Same dictatorial system, same fake elections, same contempt for the citizens. The difference is how they handle business and property in general. Communists= nobod owns nuthin except the government. After starting with that, it is perfectly logical to say “End of quote.”
Many times I’ve heard podcasts and radio shows where the host is quoting somebody and you honestly cannot tell the the quote has ended and the host’s opinions resumed.

Yep. I’ve seen several of these Biden screw-ups that were over-inflated. The guy says enough stupid crap as it is; no need to make up stuff about him.
