Mario Cordero, executive director of the Port of Long Beach, cites “significant progress” at California ports. Cordero said that the twin ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, which account for 40% of sea freight entering the United States, are working around the clock to offload containers. Since the announcement of the new fees, which have yet to be imposed, both ports have seen the lingering containers reduced by 33%.

could that be because they just remain on the ships floating around in the nearby ocean instead?
We must have red state deep ports on the west coast. Need to take washingron state?
Monkey Werx counted a bunch more the other day so its doubtful they have speeded up. The back log offshore at least is worse.
Exactly that. They’ve been moved OUT of the terminal, and to somewhere else. And that’s all they care, they can show the numbers and say “SEE! We’re doing OUR part!”.
Some were moved to residential STREETS....
