Amid all the talk about Hochul and James and Williams vying for governor next year, Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin has a message for New Yorkers: Don’t count me out.
The Long Island congressman believes he can ride the same political wave as a fellow Republican, Virginia Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin, to flip control of the Empire State next year for the first time since 2002.

He did, when he said that he would uphold mandates for masks and vaccines, contradicting campaign promises.
But then he reversed that after so much pushback. I think that is where the music stopped. Not sure. In any case, he’s a squish. I don’t think Zeldin is a squish.
He just has to get his ducks in a row with 98% places filled with MAGA precinct workers, precinct chairmen, poll watchers, and thousands of attorneys on hand Election Day to put out cheat fires as they occur. That’s how Youngkin pulled it off, I think.

A politician who listens to the voters is not necessarily a bad thing.
After which he’ll employ several enemies in a youngkin-like move.
One of the most cherished moments in my life was watching Dan Rather have to announce that George Pataki (a REPUBLICAN) had been elected governor of New York.

Lee Zeldin is a great Congressman and a great person. Right now Civiqs has Joey just underwater in New York 44/45 and the Democrat/communist brand is totally trashed by Prince Andrew and now the total communist moron that took his place. Don’t count Lee out!
He never reversed anything. The moron bloggers couldn’t process what he was saying and the Dumbs don’t understand the difference between Dillon Rule and Home Rule.
