The Lower Manhattan Community School racially segregated its students this week to grapple with the question, “How do our racial identities influence our experiences?” according to the New York Post.
“On November 23rd and 24th, 7th and 8th graders will explore the question ‘How do our racial identities influence our experiences?’ in affinity groups,” Principal Shanna Douglas wrote in an email sent to parents. “An affinity group is a group formed around a shared interest.”

Liberals are now purposefully racially segregating students. You simply cannot make this stuff up.
Is this a private school? Some elite, very expensive private schools are so left wing that they make the public schools look relatively moderate. What is worrisome is that these elite academies put children on the fast track to the Ivy League colleges and corporate America.
It’s much easier for these “educators” to babble their feelings about race and climate than to teach skills like reading, writing and math.
They’re even pretty much promoting and graduating every kid these days, just to make themselves look better.
If all of the races mingle together peacefully, as they were mostly doing prior to 2009 or so, people like Jackson, Sharpton and Obama can’t make the big bucks.
Will they teach that once there was segregation of everything down to even drinking fountains and lunch counters and demonstrators under leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King fought for years to get federal laws passed that are on the books today prohibiting that?
School kid: “Segregation? You mean just like today?”
Sounds like George Wallace was right about “segregation forever”, except it is now coming from the minority faction who wanted it done away with in the 1950s.
Based on what studies or science to they do this?! Blackxpoitation fields?!
this is sheer madness.
So segregation was really bad until the Democrats decided to use it to divide the country and bring it to the brink of a civil war so they can send the “woke” military in to “calm” things down.
On vacation at an aquarium we saw a group of Hispanic kids with their school T-shirts on, then a separate group of White kids with the same shirts and finally a group of Black kids, all from the same school. We were more integrated in the 1970s.
Yes indeed. Btw, the CRT folks are having trouble with “Hispanics,” who often “identify” as white…which they are, because they’re either of purely European descent or they’re mixed European and Indian (and some are mixed European and African).
But separating them out as a “different identity” would be like separating out Italians or some other Southern European group.
Of course, there was the joke they used to tell in New York many years ago - what was an interracial marriage? Irish and Italian.
and when the white classes pass and the black classes fail?
Black classes will pass...May not be able to read or write but they will pass......
CRT folks will have even more trouble when more Hispanics stop voting democrat and they are left all alone in a sea of white......
yeah, what WAS i thinking
and you wonder why your kids are as dumb as rocks
I can remember when White sold/rented their houses in Los Angeles school district & moved to Palmdale to avoid busing their kids into black areas.
Blacks rode the school buses to ‘school’ and spent the day burglarizing surrounding houses.
But other parents are supportive of the segregation, as they are placing trust in the school faculty to deal with the issue properly.

The white parents will find out how the teachers dealt with it when their own kids will think they are evil, and the black parents will find out their kids are held back in life because they have a frame of mind that white people will never let them succeed.
Nathaniel Styer, a Department of Education spokesperson, made it “abundantly clear to both students and parents that anyone can opt-out of this two day celebration if they desire.”This is a celebration?
