DURHAM, N.C. — Authorities were called for reports of shots fired at The Streets at Southpoint Mall in Durham on Friday afternoon.
The mall was locked down as law enforcement responded to the situation.

And who can forget the knee-jerk “ Group of 88 professors” and Pres. Brodhead of Duke Univ. who immediately condemned the Duke LaCrosse team as serial rapists of a black stripper named Crystal Mangum who brought false charges, a DA Nifong (who was disbarred) who concealed exculpatory lab evidence and the reality of the entire accused (from wealthy white families, btw) being cleared of the charges.
Later, Crystal Mangum murdered her pimp (the same one who set up the “strip party”) and is now in NC prison for life, no parole.
And finally, who can forget the insanity of the Duke Pres. Brodhead (still there in 2015), deciding to allow the muslim call to prayer to be broadcast from the Duke Chapel (at a school with entirely Christian backround and support history)— to find one more social justice crap cause to create “religious” unity- knowing that allowing this to occur then makes the Chapel a muslim religious facility from thereafter (see: koran, and see Twin Towers mosque). Black muslims and the demographics of the servant’s quarters that is Durham, NC is the major problem in the controlled local politics.
And of course, the to be re-nominated/installed hitlery clinton FDA head Rob Califf, MD is to be placed back in at the FDA to complete the entire loop of liberal lunacy and fed money sucking sound that Duke laps up from the rest of us.

Good analysis. Duke has a top university department of Christian studies. The detachment of laws from the Bible is the result of sin and laziness. Very sad.
Durham is an armpit, yet they keep voting Democrat.

This is sad. So often (as drivebys or an angry live-in baby daddy in an apartment during an argument) some poor kid who did nothing gets shot.
A few months ago, two battling Detroit drivers who knew each other were shooting at each other on the freeway at full speed and a little girl was shot dead while her brother in the back seat was "struggling for his life in ICU."

“They were screaming. Everyone was trampling. Someone even got trampled on the floor. So we had to help them and pick them up,” said an employee at a clothing store on the first floor.
The mall was placed on lockdown.
“Someone was having a panic attack actually, and her mom was trying to calm her down but it wasn’t working. She was scared,” another store employee said.
“The 10-year-old was injured by a ricochet shot, police said and was taken to the hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.”
