FTA-—Facebook’s censoring MO partners with groups approved by the Poynter Institute,
a group that claims “a commitment to nonpartisanship.”

But Poynter isn’t nonpartisan. It promotes progressive jargon like “decolonize the media,”
and it praises left-leaning journalists.

Once they even proposed blacklisting conservative news sites.

The Poynter Institute for Media Studies, to our local shame, is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and is the mothership of the sole local newspaper, The Saint Petersburg Times, and POLITIFACT, amongst others. It was a creation of the late owner & publisher of the Saint Petersburg Times, Nelson Poynter (1903-78), who inherited it from his father, Paul, who bought the paper in 1910.

For the less affectionate in our area, the St Pete Times has been frequently referred to as the Suncoast Pravda for its persistent LEFTist slant. The INFURIATING thing about the Poynter Institute is that it is a 501(c)3 CHARITY, a non-profit! It is self-described as a Journalism School with the motto of "Democracy needs journalism. Journalism needs Poynter".

“Facebook often censors things that should be talked about. They banned discussion of the idea of that COVID-19 escaped from a lab, only reversing course when the Biden administration did.”

I find it amusing that people care so much about Faceberg. Faceberg is a private company under no obligation to report things correctly or treat its membership a certain way, or to extend “rights” to anyone. They can sh1tcan any member for any reason. Yes, it’s a freak liberal site and it sucks. I only made an account there so I could post comments on some news sites. I don’t understand why people get so bugged about this. So WHAT if these socialist crybabies don’t like you? You don’t need them!

No organism can live in a medium of its own waste. Leave Faceberg and it’ll be nothing but a bunch of liberal twatwaffles whining and posting snuff videos and it will die.

I get banned from discussion boards and web pages all the time. I don’t feel this keeps my voice from being heard. I do try to follow site rules on a site and not break rules deliberately but I get banned anyway. *shrugs* That means I have enemies.

Hahahahaaaaaa!! I have enemies! *snaps fingers*

I guess for someone who wants/expects a lot of “exposure” for whatever it is he’s selling would be upset at being censored...? But that’s how they build dependence: You start to depend on them for that part of your audience/reputation. Again, it sucks but you played into it by showing them how much you need them. By GIVING THEM MONEY and HELPING THEM EARN when they’re stealing your private information and selling it to China and Russia.

What’s the difference between FB and heroin? FB is even worse than heroin in some ways - at least heroin settles one’s pain for a time, but FB just makes everything worse.
