Former President Donald Trump has denied claims by his last White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, that Trump tested positive for COVID-19 shortly before his first debate with Joe Biden last year.
“The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News,” Trump said Wednesday in a statement released by his Save America PAC. “In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.”
Meadows makes the claim in his forthcoming book “The Chief’s Chief,” which recounts his time in the Trump administration and is due out next week. An advance copy of the book was obtained by the Guardian.

Meadows is probably confused on his timeline.
The Post is reporting what The Guardian is reporting from reading, I am sure very carefully selected and out of context sentences, of the book.
So what does Meadows really write in the book?
Can anyone on here, or anywhere, provide a book, interview or anything else where Democrats seemed so enthusiastic about talking smack about another Democrat?
I guess, I can only think of Harris trying to call out CornPop during a debate, but obviously that wasn’t too big a deal given where she is now.

Maybe. But why would Meadows even put something like that in the book?
Regardless of all the great things he did for the country, without the help of Congress, they still can’t help themselves when it comes to talking negatively about President Trump.
President Trump must have really been doing some damage to their money laundering operations.
Considering the involvement of people who worked for Simon & Schuster (now owned by Bertelsmann) and Hachette (owned by Lagardère), I smell a rat.
The headline doesn’t square with the story.
Here is what Trump said,
“The story of me having COVID prior to, or during, the first debate is Fake News,” Trump said Wednesday in a statement released by his Save America PAC. “In fact, a test revealed that I did not have COVID prior to the debate.”
There is no indication that Trump had the virus only that he tested positive for it using the notoriously inaccurate (The PCR test has been discontinued by the government because it is so inaccurate.) PCR test which was followed immediately by a much more accurate test showing a negative result for the virus.
Trump can easily disprove this if he so chooses.
That's news to me...what test replaced it?
Meadows has proven to be a scumbag. He is looking for praise from leftists.
And the big story on Action News: “Who cares?”
These kinds of stories are designed to generate buzz about the book and drive sales so people can find out what was really said.
My guess is that Meadows wrote something like "Trump tested positive for COVID prior to the debate, and the campaign panicked, but then Trump took a second, more accurate test and was negative. So we proceeded with the debate."
And the MSM press breathlessly reports "Trump TESTED POSITIVE PRIOR TO DEBATE!!!!!!!!"
I don’t really know what has replaced it but the it is possibly the one mentioned in this piece about Trump testing positive (PCR) and then negative using a different test.

That’s more likely what happened. Get a false positive if you had a positive test at all.
The fact that this guy is putting her in a book revealing the time that he had with our president is obnoxious and just shows that trump surrounded himself with traitors
Media is trying to get pro jabbers to hate President Trump.
IIRC, it’s looking like a test that Bill Gates et al is involved with.
Meadows admits that the first test came in positive and then a second, more accurate test was negative. If the first test was a false positive then no, Trump didn’t test positive before the debate.
Meadows is trying to inflate his importance and grasp and control of all things, since this particular event, in the scale of events, amounts to a hiccup in a hurricane.
