CORTE MADERA, Calif. -- It was a Thanksgiving break unlike any other for dozens of families at a school in Northern California this year.

Looking at the bright side, I'm guessing both parents have jobs, which is a good thing, and they didn't buy the child a handgun, so there's that.

Did anyone actually get sick? “They” don’t say … “they” rarely do.

Good. I support all the chaos over nothing.

May they all choke on it.

Not smart

Keep any sick person, sick with anything contagious, at home.

Better to have them home and resting. Cripes the very rare times I get sick, i dont go anywhere, i dont feel good or want to go anywhere. Resting and meds and supplements is what works to keep it as short as possible.

Yeah that might mean changes to your schedule. It might mean a sick day or two.

Attempted murder charges pending. . . in the media. Politicians and lawmakers to follow.

Man you do not know my covid posts, thats for dam sure, lol

I just think the best thing to do, and i said for any sickness, is to rest at home, and let your body deal with it. Its the fastest way to get over it, and bonus, you minimize who might get sick from you.

But you don’t know he had actually been SICK. Could be another asymptomatic. Perhaps tested for some other reason.

child was in school already for 7 days knowing about the positive. At that point it makes little difference. Kid wouldn’t survive in school that long if he was really sick.

But you don’t know he had actually been SICK.

I agree, a positive reading on these tests don't equate to actually being sick. If sick - I agree, the person should definitely stay home (adult or child). It is not treating your neighbor like you'd want to be treated by knowingly exposing them to the flu (fever, etc). But without any indications of being really sick (more than mild sniffles) - no, I wouldn't pay attention to these bogus tests.
Of course I expect the CoVid gendarmes to drag the parents away in shackles for not exhibiting the proper terror to the CoVid.

Again,

My statement is for any sickness

Its not covid specific

If they went to the trouble to test him and hes positive,

Its probably best to lay low and rest

Its the good old common sense rule everyone used to just kmow and follow,

If youre sick, stay home until you feel good

That means if you feel bad stay home

If you get tested for something and you have it, stay home

Its not anything outrageous, its common sense

It gets you back out there faster

Jeez wtf is wrong with this place!?!?

I have to flipping defend centuries old common sense now.
