Former President Donald Trump expressed admiration for predecessor Barack Obama at a ticketed Florida event Saturday, after spending years slamming the Democrat.
Speaking at the kickoff of his four-date “History Tour” with Bill O’Reilly at an arena in Sunrise, Florida, the Republican said of Obama, “I liked him,” while also calling him “smart and sharp,” according to The Sun Sentinel.

Hitler and Stalin were described as “likeable” and even “charismatic” by Peter Drucker, who knew them both fairly well.

But Trump also told the crowd that Obama’s methods caused “tremendous division” and hatred in the country
Trump doesn’t make statements randomly. There’s something happening behind the scenes.
There’s people I’ve liked but hate what they do or stand for.

The Post tries. They all try, even the NY Post. Does anyone in journalism read? Do they have any clue who Trump is? His background, his education?
He ALWAYS says he likes his enemies. He said he liked (even LOVED) China, many many times..

Knew them personally? Do you have any evidence? He left the continent in 1933, I don’t see any evidence he knew them.
Just don’t believe everything you read. Nor put a lot of weight in it at this time.
Media and reporting is all screwed up these days and nothing believable.
Regardless, whatever he says, people will somehow flip it to a positive or find a way to excuse it or rationalize it seven ways to Sunday with all kinds of mental gymnastics, as the wider objective reality here, the sacrosanct default position, is that Pres. Trump can do no wrong… Which in my book is dangerous thinking when directed to any political leader. I just don’t invest my autonomy so easily.

And to whomever said Trump let Log Cabin folks use Mar a Lago for a Lincoln Dinner..... I’m not a fan and never have been of Log Cabin Republicans ( something about letting the camel’s nose get under the tent flap)

I was done with Trump when the “plandemic” began.
What is he doing? Expressing an opinion. Being a business man. Business people at the end of the day know they have to do business with everyone. Why alienate someone when you don’t have to? Do we really exist in a world now where people with whom we disagree with we cannot treat nicely.
Perhaps it’s this tour either with us or against us attitude that is causing the most problems in our country.
