Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that text messages of Donald Trump, Jr. urging his father’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows to help stop the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, showed hypocrisy that “smacks you in the face.”
Mitchell said, “What is the impact do you think of Don Jr.? Publicly, he was saying one thing and denying the severity of the insurrection while privately, he was pleading with Mark Meadows. Does it, first of all, suggest that they all were aware that Donald Trump, alone, could have stopped the violence by asking him to do something about it?”

Adam Schiff, or as I like to call him “A damn Schitt” should be in jail for creating a fake transcript of Trumps phone call to the President of the Ukraine and then reading it in front of Congress. The double standard when it comes to law in this country is astounding.
But neither Trump was part of insurrection perpetrated on Jan 6th by the FBI.
The FBI might have been and probably was working with others like the CIA, and the Capitol Police, but not with Trump.

So basically, Schiff is extrememely disappointed that Don Jr. didn’t say anything incriminating, so now he has to actually try to contend that him suggesting capitol protest getting riotous as a bad thing.... is a bad thing!
