"Mike should have sent those crooked votes back to the legislatures and you would have had a different result in the election, in my opinion," the former President told the audience at the stop on Bill O'Reilly's "History Tour."

Which the Vice President has absolutely no authority to do. It does not exist, period. Pence could be the most saintly man to ever hold the office or the most corrupt man to ever hold the office - it makes no difference. This is not a power that exists. Once the states send the Electoral votes there, their role is over. Congress can either certify or reject them, but they cannot be "sent back." There are no do-overs in the Constitution or the related statutes. Probably Navarro planted this stupid idea in his head.

The worst thing he did was abandon Trump supporters instead of standing up for them. He could have easily said he condemns the violence but Trump supporters are not violent and he is sure the vast majority were peaceful.

Good post.

Politicians like Pence claim they want to lead but they are only interested in dodging responsibility and polishing their own image.

Please, allow me . . .

Pence should have stood up, but he knelt down bent over.

I was a child when Nixon left office. My grandfather liked Nixon. He was a farmer and said the farmers did well under Nixon. I wasn’t there but for all practical purposes the South Vietnamese Communist Insurgency was defeated during Nixon’s second term. South Vietnam fell when Nixon was forced to leave office and the the Democrat Party cut off all funding and assistance to South Vietnam.

Pence, betrayal has consequences. You will never sleep well again.

Pence was always a RINO. Now he’s a traitor.

The fly that planted itself on Pence’s head during his debate with Kamala was ominous.

Pence has been weighed on the balance, and found lacking.

When his moment arrived, he became his first nature…a politician.

I wasn’t old enough to vote for Nixon, but I would not regret it in the slightest if I had.

He was not as good a POTUS as Reagan or Trump, but he was a Hell of a lot better than Humphrey or McGovern.

But more to the point, he did NOT deserve to be impeached and demonized for what he did - especially after those corrupt and filthy Kennedys got treated like saints.

Pence was last seen playing the violin on the Bidentanic as it sunk into the frigid waters of the Deep State Atlantic….

I disagree with Trump on this one.

Pence has no future in the GOP because he is absolutely unelectable as a presidential candidate.

He'll join a long line of losing VP candidates who quickly faded into political obscurity after they lost their last election: Geraldine Ferraro (1984), Lloyd Bentsen (1988), Dan Quayle (1992), Jack Kemp (1996), Joe Lieberman (2000), John Edwards (2004), Sarah Palin (2008), Paul Ryan (2012) and Tim Kaine (2016). These people invariably end up being remembered as bumbling misfits and losers.

Nothing Pence could have done would have changed the steal.

I agree with that. Whatever played out on 1/6, was well planned in the days and weeks before. The "insurrection" was to make the electoral objections by state not occur.

I don't know if Pence is dirty or just playing a dirty part, but wifey Karen is dirty.

Here's Karen at the GHWB funeral getting "The Envelope".

Pence is sitting beside with no obvious program or envelope, in the video this is from.

“Validating a fraudulent election... is immmoral.”

Yes, and that’s what it comes down to, despite all the people saying “that’s not his job”, etc.

Maybe it wasn’t his job to send the votes back to the state legislatures, however, he still had a moral duty NOT to participate in defrauding Americans of our votes. At the very least, he could have stood up, said “I won’t participate in this farce, find someone else to do your dirty work.” and left Congress holding the bag. There’s nothing in the Constitution or his job description that could force him to violate his conscience.

Pence was always a RINO. Now he’s a traitor.

But if you are correct and Trump is really the president then that would mean that Pence is really the vice-president, right? Traitor or no traitor?

“I think Pence means well, but he’s milquetoast.”

Pence doesn’t have Trump’s fighting instincts. I’d like to see him more passionately defend his decision. Maybe he’ll get to debate Trump in the primaries.
