Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham blasted Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) Tuesday night for publicizing texts the two sent to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows as the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was unfolding, calling it both a smear attempt and a breach of their privacy.
Cheney, the vice chair of the Jan. 6 select committee investigating the riot, read out the messages from Hannity and Ingraham on Monday night, shortly before the panel voted unanimously to recommend that Meadows be held in contempt of Congress.
“Mark, the president needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home,” Ingraham texted Meadows that day, according to Cheney. “This is hurting all of us. He is destroying his legacy.”
”Can he make a statement?” Cheney quoted Hannity as asking Meadows. “Ask people to leave the Capitol.”

Hannity’s favorite guest are Karl Rove and Flimsey Grahamnesty, who are backing Liz Cheney and every other Bush League Republican fully committed to the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA).

There may not be a whole lot of folks getting in front of every camera they can find, but Kemp doesn’t do much traveling anymore. After what happened in November and January, the folks in Georgia had no problem letting him know they weren’t happy.
Now a poll done, by a pro-Trump entity or not, shows him getting the snot beat out of him by Perdue. Raffensbergers commercials have stopped running as if he ever had a chance. I’m sure the two of them still have some IOUs to their Democrat and Chinese masters to pay.
I know that there’s no recall mechanism for federal representatives. For good reason. But, there is nothing stopping a grass roots surge from Wyoming demanding that she resign. If the majority of the folks in Wyoming, the legislature and anyone else, formed a united bloc and told her to leave, what would she do? A vote of confidence and declare her Persona Non Grata in the state, where she’s a carpetbagger anyway, would make her look like more of a fool than she already is. Still a long way to go before January 2023.

To the substance of the texts, Hannity and Ingraham obviously had little information about what was happening at the Capitol. There was no way for anyone to get any messages to a significant number of people that were at the Capitol. Data services in DC on protest days are dismal. Only Trump standing there with a bullhorn would have worked. BTW, Trump was not in charge of the policing and security services at the Capitol. That was Pelosi’s job, so where are her text messages?
