Anthony Fauci said Thursday that the omicron variant will likely be dominant in the U.S. in "a few weeks" and warned of the possibility of hospitals being overwhelmed this winter.
He added, though, that people who are vaccinated, and especially those who have their booster shots, will be "relatively well protected, at least against severe disease," saying he is most worried about the unvaccinated.
The omicron variant "will assume a dominant role very soon, I would imagine within a period of a few weeks to as we go into January," Fauci, the government's top infectious disease expert, said during an event hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

The hospitals have had TWO YEARS to expand capacity.
No “covid surge” should be a cause for alarm at this point.
They were supposed to only need two weeks.

Let’s take this at face value (instead of the fear porn that Fauci feeds on): if Fauci really believes that after two years COVID will still fill up all our hospitals then why isn’t he demanding more hospitals be built rather than stripping all of us of our freedom?

They clearly want us dead, so on to Plan B. Get yourself and loved ones prepared to treat COVID, and any variant, at home. If people don't know what they need by now they are way, way behind the curve but it isn't too late to start.

The hospitals were not filled last year even before everyone had vax. Even less so now except in smaller rural communities.
Time for everyone to enjoy christmas dinners and go back to offices after New Years.
