COVID is over. Oh, not with Anthony Fauci. Not with the media. Not with the sour-faced Karens ... But with normal people, especially outside the big urban areas, it’s over.

If Covid was as bad as what the powers that be wanted it to be, people would be dropping like flies. Thousands of people at football games, very few wearing masks (that never worked anyway, in reality), millions not vaxxed, and all they can do is scream “new variant, more deadly that ever!”. It’s absurd. And while I’m on a rant, does it bother anybody that one of the vaxxes is now being recommended against use? That a short term serious side effect is just now being publicized even though informed people have been hearing about for months? If they didn’t know about a short term problem, what could they possibly know about long term effects? Rant over.

Once they had this great tool for accumulating power they ran with it. They had tried various fear-based schemes before - nuclear winter, global warming, etc. None had really gotten any traction. Personal, immediate fear worked though. We are now living in occupied territory. We are ruled by unseen powers through a dementia-addled puppet using un-Constitutional powers.
For me, covid is over. Masks are over. Vaccines are over. History. Any business wants me to wear a mask, doesn't want my business, I'll go elsewhere. Anyone tries to force a vaccine on me, I will consider that a deadly threat and respond accordingly. That said, I don't expect I can exactly return to "normal" as in 2019 behaviors - yet. Too many others are still buying into this excrement. I expect it is going to get worse before it gets better.

In Indonesia, we have been averaging <300 new cases and <10 deaths per day for well over one month, this in a country of 270 millions with ~30% vaccinated. Most people now just laugh at the notion of the omicron onslaught.
Yet their school insists that my grandchildren aged six and ten must get the jab to return to school.
Colorado Governor Polis is not mandating masks at the state level , however he is allowing local county and city tyrants to do that - as he prepares for his re-election campaign.
The media is still promoting irrational fear.
Sorry but they won’t stop the EUA. Too much easy money on the patents. The only way is for the states to impose proper liability to the companies that mandate anything, vax included. Any adverse effect requires $10M restitution for the person and healthcare provided for life from the company. see how long it lasts. And an ingrown toenail is an adverse reaction since the testing has produced no list.
Get ready for the next engineered “variant” to put a stop to uppity folks venturing into a return to normalcy.
