KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — A lead investigator in the alleged plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer pleaded no contest Monday to assaulting his wife, though he said he has no memory of it.
Kalamazoo County prosecutors struck a deal with former FBI agent Richard Trask after his wife declined to cooperate further.
Trask was accused of assaulting his wife at their Kalamazoo-area home in July. She had lacerations on her head and blood on her chest, arms and hand, sheriff’s investigators wrote.

Heather Foulke said she told a sheriff's deputy that they had left a hotel party because Trask was “acting weird.” She believes he may have been drugged.
Trask got credit for two days in jail and will serve no additional time in custody. He lost his job with the FBI after the incident.

Agents are hired from the existing American population. A significant percentage of that population has embraced neo pagan decadence. These agents, CNN producers and Democrats do not exist in a cultural or political vacuum. Most conservatives share a core of decent values, but it is wrong to assume that those values form the common consensus that once existed. People may look like you, act in public much like you but at their core are nothing like you.
The FBI is full of total losers, just like most Law enforcement agencies. Yes there are good ones, but they are full of losers.
I stopped listening to Hannity years ago. He’s a one-trick pony. Same BS over and over and over and over again.
I believe it was his mom that worked for the FBI...so, all the field FBI agents are great. Total BS - name one Field FBI Agent that has spoken out regarding the crap that is going on in the FBI.

He might be, if Heather Foulke is correct that he may have been drugged. Certainly not enough information provided within this article to know, because as usual it provides nothing more than the results, because the author probably doesn’t know anymore than do you or I.
This is also domestic assault. He should lose his firearm rights and his law enforcement position. That is what would happen to anyone else.
More likely, he is just a run of the mill mean drunk. They are Legion. I've known women that will excuse this behavior for decades. I am surprised she filed charges. She still attempted to give him an out.
