it was a mistake which she immediately admitted to....I can see her being fired from the police but other then that, how do you prosecute/persecute an accident.....

some old gumpy steps on the accelerator instead of the brake and kills somebody, nobody is calling for his head.

In that latter case, yes, actually, sometimes the old grumpy does get charged with manslaughter.

Civilians are prosecuted for accidents leading to injury or death routinely

It’s just how it is.

A mistake

Look at your text and plow into the back of minivan .....you didn’t mean to....and some dead or paralyzed kids

And you’ll likely do some pokey time

Pull your taser by accident and blast a nut bag wanted on minor charges warrants who’s bucking up

Note none of her fellow officers were ready to go weapns yet....

And you will likely be charged

I’d prefer a lesser offense like RD first degree or manslaughter 3rd

And the fact the dead boy is a shitbag is beside the point ....largely

We do not want cops determine who to execute based on criminal history....that’s ridiculous as some here propose

Who’s going to make that determination

The same police chiefs standing down on ANTIFA and ramping up against our side...?

We have laws for a reason
