As a man the laws and courts are stacked against you. I would never marry again after going through what I did.
No upside for men.
All it is is a big party for the girl, an atm for the girl, and cheating insurance for the girl.
Babies are portrayed as poisons to the planet.
Premarital contracts by default and paternity tests at the birth of each baby would help.
18%??? I find that hard to believe but I guess it’s possible. But I know of 2 cases where the girl is not married so she can get benefits and the guy still gets his benefits as well. If the government pays people to not get married, they won’t get married.
The core problem is that fatherhood is disenfranchised.
This is why I am for agrarian family dynamics and against industrial family dynamics.
The government pays single mothers to be single mothers and thus the number of single mothers grows and grows and grows.
The government also pays hospitals to say everyone died of Covid. Extra money to kill them with the ventilator. If you offer people enough money they will lie their arse off.
Thank God more and more men have figured out wht a racket it has been turned into. Its not what it once was, its been warped into another way for the state, through women, have control over a mans kids, assets and freedom.
The state made no fault divorce that incentives women to divorce men, and they have as over 80% of divorces are filed by women.
The state model by default has women getting alimony and child support, for leaving the marriage. The state court model encourages adversarial behavior and the state has a financial conflict of interest to maximize awards because the state gets paid from every alimony and child support payment.
Divorced men are turned into modern day involuntary servitude slaves, they go to jail if they cant pay. Debtors prison through divorce.
The state is happy to separate men from their children, because in gynosociety men are bad and women are alwYs right and superior in everywzy, as long as the stafe can take resources away from men and give them to women.
Thank God more men are seeing the awful truth as to what marriage is in the 21st century.
Who would be thought of as a great investor if they kept investing in things if one side could leave without any negztive consequences and take half the other persons stuff and their housee and kids if they decide to leave for any reason, even if they are the ones cheating?
I’ve been happily married for 27 years. So my household is one of those 18% as we still have a teenager living at home.
Regarding all the laments about how the courts are stacked against men (and I agree they are), I like the line from Thelma and Louise: You get what you settle for.
Choose wisely! There are good conservative faithful women out there.
The problem is the foundation of marriage. If Jesus Christ isn’t the center of a marriage, then there is no compelling reason to enter into such an arrangement.

Women can lie and say they fslt pressured to sign one, and/or didnt know whatthey were signing.
Paternity tests should be done at birth but unfortunately it wont stop the guy getting divorce raped if she cucked him with another guy.
The problem is that fathers are treated as paychecks instead of parents.
Take big government out of the equation and these numbers would evaporate in a decade or two.
No alimony or child support enforced by 3rd parties, which are a “gravy train” for government and their lawyer buddies, would be a good start.
Men in their later years....40’s and 50’s etc. think when the kids are raised they’ve done their duty so they move on, especially if the wife isn’t interested in exploring life now there’s just the two of them....they’d rather go solo.

Nearly 20% are retired. If you are retired and still have children at home, this is a bit unusual, although not impossible.

If this continues as is where people aren’t interested in marriage rather living together (while they still check out others)...then I think next will be open marriages.
