Arizona college students threatened to go on a second hunger strike if Congress doesn’t pass the Democrat-led voting legislation by Jan. 17.
"We’re prepared to hold out indefinitely now that the holidays are over," Leila Winbury, a junior at Arizona State University, told Fox News Digital. "I have seen the consequences of a broken democracy my entire life, so we're willing to suffer the consequences of hunger striking rather than the consequences of the bill not passing."
She said the next hunger strike will be "a lot bigger" than the 15-day one organized in December.
"Nationwide hunger-striking, more than likely," she noted.
The Un-PAC students are advocating for the Freedom to Vote Act, which aims to take money out of politics, establish more lenient voting rules and make Election Day a federal holiday.

"The health toll was hard, a lot of us had low blood pressure, but we did have a doctor on site," she told Fox News Digital. "He took our vitals twice a day."
"In Arizona I was able to go back to my dorm. In D.C., we stayed in sleeping bags out front of the Capitol, and then once it would get dark, we would go stay in a hotel," Winbury said.
She shared her message to D.C. lawmakers: "Do your jobs, listen to your constituents. We should not have to put our bodies on the line for you to listen to us."

Marshall Applewhite came to mind.
When I was in college they had some camp out over global warming, where they slept in tents. That was right until mid-late October and it got cold, so they ran inside to their dorm at night to sleep.

Die miserable painful deaths, fascist students. The rest of us do not want the Federal government controlling elections.
Probably just the local Revolutionary Communist Party saying this, about 10 or so. And they wouldn’t actually do it.
If they have Federally guaranteed student loan debt they need to be force fed and then sent to collections. No dying if they owe the tax payers money!
Hey AZ college geniuses, you are not threating me with a hunger strike, you are threatening yourselves and like most woke jerks you won’t go through with it for more than a couple of days before you’ll be feeding your face with junk food.
Starve, spoiled idiots.
I think I'll get snow tires, instead of all season.
Anyone remember the studded tires?
Those were awesome!
What’s the point spread for actual pounds lost during the strike?
And for holding out the longest, i wanna bet on a skinny kid ; any fatties will be hangry and dying after an hour.
Threaten? Naah, they should just go ahead and do it first.
Ditt.
Ramen vendors and Uber Eats drivers to be hit hardest......
“Let them starve.”
Indeed. Some people can save the planet by leaving it.
Years ago, during my UMASS days, some students went on one of these. Local media set up on one side of the building. The cops and administration blocked access to one of the others. How funny was it, when it was soon discovered that the students were being given food.
Really have to wonder what the parents of these kids are like. Are they raging liberal, hippies? Or are they normal folks that really have no idea what their kids are up to? Are they Conservative parents that are agonizing over the fact that their kids are insane and they’re footing the tuition and expenses for these indoctrinated morons?
If I had done or said something like this, my dad would have walked up to the first cop and told him he’s coming into the building to “remove me”. I’m not sure if he would have had to come in. All he probably had to do was call me and simply say something along the lines of....”Don’t make me come in there and get you.”
And discretion being the better part of valor, I would have thrown up DUECES and walked out of the building.
Why do parents send their kids to college? I’d cut them off.
Let them eat chads…
Just do it ✔
