The Justice Department’s (DOJ) leveling of seditious conspiracy charges against the founder of the Oath Keepers has renewed interest — and in some cases faith — in DOJ and whether its investigation could yield charges against other high-level figures involved in the attack on the Capitol, including those in former President Trump’s orbit.
Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the far-right militia group, was never in the Capitol on Jan. 6, but he’s been charged alongside other members who used a military “stack” formation to enter the building.

Faith in jailing Trump?!
wow.. Remember when The Hill said that about Hillary Clinton?
Anyone who swore an oath to defend the country and constitution and meant it.
This would be service members, police officers, etc.
“What the hell is an oathkeeper?”
A scapegoat. Being unconstitutionally persecuted by a dictatorship for political reasons (unrelated to the Oathkeeper).
The Department of “Just-us” is highly selective in the persons it pursues, first determining their political orientation, and if found to have certain political connections, applies the full faith and credit of the Feral, er, Federal government in their persecution, er, prosecution of that person or persons. If, however, the identified individual has certain “get out of jail free” credentials, then it is as if the investigation has no further objective, and investigation is immediately terminated.
To my knowledge, there is no evidence whatsoever that Trump had any relationship with Stewart Rhodes or any other member of the Oath Keepers. But I bet the FBI (or some other fed agency) did have a relationship. The Oath Keepers have been around for 10 or 12 years, and I would be surprised if they hadn’t been infiltrated long before the January 6th rally was ever planned. Actually, I’d be shocked.
Typical anti-American smearing by The Hill. Bunch of Leftists.
The feds think anyone who believes in the Constitution, whether they have a little pocket one, or take the oath to defend it seriously, is a domestic terrorist.
I don’t know much about Oathkeepers, but I’d bet the farm that 99.9% of the members of that group are a thousand times more trustworthy, honorable, loyal, patriotic, and law-abiding than any random FBI or DOJ employee.
