It wasn’t just some kiddie Christian day camp he shot up... It was a Communist indoctrination camp teaching young adults, not just kids, to be better Communists.
Not excusing what he did in any way, but he was a monster killing monsters in the making.

Some years back I was reading some comments in some forums on other sites, and several people were claiming that this camp for young people was where the "elite" sent their children, and that Brevik's motivation was to make the people who were deliberately misruling the country suffer the consequences of their actions.
He wanted them to hurt the way people who had lost sons and daughters to their immigration policies had been hurt by the third world immigrants they had let in.
Now I don't know if this is accurate because I never delved deep into the motivations of a mass murderer, but several commentators agreed that this is correct.
If true, it makes the actions of Brevik more understandable.
He should have given them helicopter rides.
