COUTTS, Alta-Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says a truck convoy that's blockaded a highway at a busy U.S. border crossing as part of a protest against vaccine mandates violates the province's Traffic Safety Act and must end immediately.

The Canada Border Services Agency said the U.S. border crossing at Coutts, Alta., has remained open despite the blockade on Highway 4, but RCMP says only foot traffic is able to get through.

"As I said last week. Canadians have a democratic right to engage in lawful protests. I urge those involved in this truck convoy protest to do so as safely as possible, and not to create road hazards which could lead to accidents or unsafe conditions for other drivers," Kenney said Sunday in a statement from Washington D.C., where he is attending the National Governors Association meeting...

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney of the "United Conservative Party" not budging from his province's vaccine passport system as he hangs out in Washington DC.

The truck blockade trying to reach leaders like him.

Instead Mr. Kenney is demanding that the protest calling on him to change his mind end.

What a Fakeservative he is.

Mandatory vaccination is against the law. Why don’t you stop that.

Somebody is a little slow if he doesn’t understand that the problem is the government ordering people to do things they don’t want to do. More ordering isn’t really going to help much once they start to say “NO”.

If the government will not listen then maybe the elected officials need hearing aids made from hemp rope.

Leftists are truly the most clueless, out of touch with reality, control freaks there are on the planet.

So far the actions taken by Canadian government officials like this guy and Nova Scotia, are exactly the wrong ones to take. Those are exactly the reason for this whole convoy protest in the first place, and all they are doing is validating the purpose of it and goving more people more reason to join it.

You can stand on the sidewalk with a sign they can simply ignore. The blockade forces the tyrants hand. They either have to give in, or repress them. The government hates both of those options so they order the protest to stop.

Nice try ... lol.

So Jason what he gonna do about it? Call of the Mounties? Outnumbered. Call ot the Canadian defense forces? Close to outnumbered. Issue them citations based upon their license plates and send them a ticket in the mail? Most likely outcome, in a chicken fecal material method of conducting business.

I will look at this from the other perspective:

Blockading a road is a nuisance to people who know little or nothing about what it is you are protesting — and is likely to turn public sentiment AGAINST you.

I will never forget the day the tenants in the office building where my company was located in a U.S. city were all notified that the adjacent street was closed at 3:00 PM due to a BLM protest.

I swore that I would leave my job in that city at the first opportunity and never work there again. It was bad enough that it was a bunch of BLM misfits, but that street was a major arterial for anyone driving out of the city and it bothered the hell out of me that taxpaying citizens were having their lives disrupted by losers who had nothing better to do on a weekday afternoon.

How many laws did all the BLM protests/riots break.
Blocking interstate, roads, damage to cars, buildings destroyed, people killed,

“...likely to turn public sentiment AGAINST you.”

Large protests like this and national strikes are a demonstration of non governmental force and power.

It calls the government’s bluff.....their inability to do anything meaningful to stop it short of machine gunning the participants demonstrates to the people, and reminds the bluffing overlords how limited is their reach.

The little Hitler’s are reminded they are not born with “royal” jelly squeezed from their asses that compels us to follow....but rather they lead ONLY so long as we follow.

Maybe we won’t “let” them arrest us one day.

Canadians don't know what this protest is about? Really?

The Canadians are putting the U.S. to shame. Why has there been no organized action to protest the stolen 2020 elections?

Because Trump is a vaccine cheerleader? Because January 6 was ill conceived and people have been left to rot? I think it’s the number one issue for the country, by far, but the recent actions of the person most affected could be discouraging some from caring too much.

Because any protest needs to be sustained over a lengthy period of time .....and or often before there’s any adequate response from officials. Or you could do like BLM does and just start destroying stuff.

It would appear the more violent protests do seem to get the attention otherwise average protests don’t.

A while back a Canadian from Alberta assured me that Alberta belongs in the U.S. because it was conservative. Can you imagine that now? Imagine having this goof as one of our governors...
