The crowd sourced GoFundMe platform said Saturday it will automatically refund what is left of the estimated $10 million raised for the Canadian trucker convoy protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates after Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis and others threatened a fraud investigation into the operation.
"The update we issued earlier enabled all donors to get a refund and outlined a plan to distribute remaining funds to verified charities selected by the Freedom Convoy organizers. However, due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process and automatically refunding donations," the organization posted to Twitter early Saturday.

No. If GoFundMe had actually caved they would have released the money to the trucker protests. GoFundMe Is still in breach of contract and they face serious legal action.
Everyone who donated to this needs to dispute the charge with their credit card issuers today to punish GoFundMe with the $15 dispute fee.
Break them with their own rules.

What was the reason Gofukme gave for all this in the first place? Sounds to me this is yet another company poisoned by the indoctrinated. All these kids universities are pumping out, they end up working for these tech companies and this is the BS you have to deal with.
And it’s not just tech, these newly minted commies end up in political office as we’ve seen with AOC. They end up in other corporations, the media, everything. And they want ME to pay off their student debt? F THEM! These Marxists want to defund the cops? How about we defund these universities for once until they cut this crap?
Something is severely wrong when I see a video of students in Harvard praising Communism and putting down the USA. That is a huge danger to this country because THOSE a-holes are usually the ones who end up in high positions of power.

True, but we have at least one alternative ready to go and it’s been raking in money like crazy. And awareness spreads of our alternate web economy. This should turn out to be a long term win for us and the truckers will be funded.

Gofundme caves. needs to die. I had the website gofundme2 for a while and got hits all the time. i never could get the site up and running but i tried. and i never got a ceas and disist order for the name.
