Ask David Horowitz about them! Back in the 1960s he and Peter Collier (See Ramparts Magazine!) were raging leftists they championed the Black Panthers. Then they discovered the BP murdered their bookkeeper who had uncovered that the BP’ers were laundering money & gun sales through the organization. This was one of the first things that made Horowitz & Collier question their allegiance to the left. Most of the oakland blacks have no clue about the history of their city. White flight in the 70s turned a majority white population into a majority black population by 1980s.
