Two prosecutors leading the Manhattan District Attorney's criminal tax fraud investigation into Donald Trump and his family business have abruptly resigned, it was reported on Wednesday.
Attorneys Carey R. Dunne and Mark F. Pomerantz stepped down from the case after new Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg expressed doubts over moving forward with a case against Trump, the New York Times reported.

The DemoMarxists were giving him a hell of a lot of heat the past month using him as a punching bag for all the crime even though he just took office, so I would imagine he’s not too eager to do them any favors. The Trump case was outrageous abuse of office anyway. This Letitia James needs to resign, she is as bias as it gets.

Leticia James is pursuing a civil case. As far as has been reported, that is still going on. But possibly whatever caused today’s resignations will force her to give up her jihad against Trump.
Criminal proof needed is way tougher than civil.
The worst thing about this, is the fact L. James actually campaigned on the idea that she was going to use her office to ‘go after’ Trump. She is on video all over the place promising to use her office to harass a political enemy. There doesn’t seem to be an actual law against that in New York, but do we want our State Bars looking the other way while this sort of unethical behavior takes place? I think we should start demanding the State Bar of New York sanction Leticia James.
Yes, supposedly investigating if he committed fraud to get loans from banks...I would assume it would be the banks that should be concerned with that and not her - did the banks file complaints with her asking her investigate? Did he not repay the loans according to the terms? Or did she just decide to start investigating on her own to see if she could “find something”?
The whole damn thing is nothing but a political witch hunt. There is no there there.
Biden has said he will select a black woman for the next Supreme Court nomination. Black women lawyers are only 1.8% of all the lawyers in the US, but probably the vast majority of them are Democrats so Biden's pool of eligible nominees will be almost 1.8% of the lawyers.
