The reporter plays the Artful Dodger and never actually tells us who believes what? Are the parents pushing their child to take gender comfirming drugs or are they trying to prevent it?
A simple statement either way would have cleared this lingering cloud up in one second.
I’m just guessing the parents ARE ‘encouraging’ their child to take these drugs, because they think it’s what she wants.

Welcome to America 2022, where adults who mutilate chldren are deemed to be the good guys by most media outlets.
Notice the use of “gender-confirming” when it is absolutely the opposite. What is at issue is bodies and body parts being damaged with irreversible chemicals and surgery on children too young to make their own life altering decisions.
So parents who are abusing their children do not want to be investigated for child abuse. What a surprise.
