They are still negotiating, but they want to make it clear they will win if Ukraine doesn’t give in.

Sorry to say, Ukraine’s fate was sailed when Trump lost. Take the best deal you can get and fight another day.

Let’s try that again:

Well I think that Russia had plenty of time to prepare before they invaded and Biden with his wide open borders and drones are pretty small probably smuggled a bunch over here in America and they’re just waiting for a green light.

The Russians held back their military forces until they saw how Biden and the Ukraine reacted. Given the weak response from both parties, expect the Russian Air Force to be everywhere in the Ukraine soon.

Russia will be poised to strike but they will make one final offer to Ukraine....I suggest the Ukrainians take it.

Someone has a clue about what is going on here.

Land bridge to Crimea is one of the main goals, I expect.

That one change is nothing. It doesnt mean a persons ideology is changed fundamentally, not at all.

To state that doesnt mean what I said avout Putin is somehow negated or not correct.

I readily admit our tax system is both socialist and punitive. We had socialist democrats implement it. And progressively expand it.

[And potentially risk an escalation involving nuclear weapons?]

It won’t come to nukes. Losing and handing a depopulated Russia to China would free Putin from having any worries at all. But it would wipe Putin and Russia from the history books. It will be as if Russia had never existed, except as a part of China. So even if he hates his children and grandchildren and wants them cremated alive, he won’t resort to nukes. The whole point of this expedition is so he can join “the Greats” - Vladimir, Peter and Catherine, not make Russia a tiny footnote in Chinese history.

At the same time, I don’t expect Biden to be able to think this through. Trump might laugh at Putin’s empty threats. Biden is too stupid to figure it out.

One of or a combo of three things has happened to his air force.

1. Putin directed them to take it easy, save civilian lives
2. Insurrection, Generals aren’t pushing his war
3. Russia’s pilots are poorly trained and possibly angry

I’ll take a light serving of two and three please...

I’ve heard one military type says it’s a lack of smart ordinance and a plan to limit civilian casualties. But that could change.

You don't send in your air force if they don't have targets.

It's the same strategy with the U.S. B-2 bomber. Launch it from very few locations around the world, hit your targets, and then return home.

It appears they've hit the ones they wanted: airfields, parked aircraft, petroleum storage, refineries, pipelines, and communications towers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that were pretty much true.

I will say, that it does challenge that belief when Putin
is taking so much heat for the lack of progress.

I do note that he is locking up the port locations in the
North and the South.

He may be misdirecting people as he scoops up what he wanted
all along.

There is a new way of war. Keep the infrastructure. When America is defeated, it will likely be with a hack, or an EMP/power grid sabotage. china already has the replacement parts (we do NOT!) to replace what will be fried. And unlike the chinese grid parts we use currently*, the ones they install will not have been made/programmed to fail when they turn on the power.

Yeah, let’s believe the media now, because they never lied about the renamed flu/cold/sniffles.

Let me add a bioweapon to that list, along with EMP.

Yes. I think those and that the Javelins can be used against low, slow-flying aircraft and helicopters. Maybe they’re waiting for them Ukrainians to use up their stockpile first.
