Thus is one important thing, especially now, without getting involved in the war...

I predict some legal troubles for Elon Musk in the very near future.

Do not let Biden get away with blaming Russia for high gas prices. He alone is responsible for all of this.

Thank Joe for a good measure of this mess: It cost me $61 to fill up my Hyundai two days ago. Within two hours of taking office, Dufus issued an Executive Order that killed the Keystone Pipeline and severely restricted oil leases on federal lands. Why? Is it an accident that a large contributor owns the only rail line between the ND oil fields and the refineries in the Mississippi Delta? Even the Tree Huggers should be PO’ed as it makes no environmental sense, either. Just pure stupid politics by an illiterate economic twit.

Even Elon realizes that EVs don’t do well in a real emergency much less a war.

Right now, it might be a chance to gather vast Anerican support for Musk’s push...

I am not even sure of the accuracy of the title. High energy costs are going to appear in the cost of Teslas. Teslas are built using oil, and so is an economy where people can afford Teslas.

But, if it helps the Left to be confounded by his altruism, I’ll take it.

“despite negative effect on Tesla”

If oil and gas get too rare and costly, the economy will tank, and fewer people will be able to afford Teslas.

The trucking industry is getting utterly killed, $5 to $6 a gallon for diesel and I would imagine it’s nearer to $8 in the communist run states like Commiefornia.

And where will those costs be passed? To the consumer. It’s too bad we can’t tax the piss out of all the Biden voters for this. My neighbor down the block is a big Biden supporter. I feel like asking him for the extra money I have to pay. $1.85 a gallon to over double that in a year, get the hell out of here with this crap

Teslas (and most other vehicles) contain hundreds of pounds of plastic, and producing plastic requires oil.

Cheap oil helps everyone, even Musk.

This guy would make a decent Senator. And with his celeb status, maybe he could win in a blue state.

Musk is quite right, but dementia Joe and his greenies will have none of it. When gasoline is nearing $5 pallor before the fall elections and people are still in shock from their winter heating bills and the summer blackouts maybe they will vote the Democrats out of office. While I expect a GOP sweep of Congress in the fall, the RINO leadership and the likes of Mitt Judas Iscariot Romney could likely do little but slow the destruction of America Biden has started.

... Teslas require a lot of oil too. Plastics are all over their vehicles. Gas provides quite a bit of the power their vehicles (and factories) run on. Gas/diesel is how their cars are shipped around the country. What runs the mines where his precious lithium is dug, the facilities where it is refined?

It’s too bad that Elon is such a socialist.
I admire him greatly except for that cranial density.

these claims that increasing domestic oil and NG production somehow hurt Tesla are complete nonsense ... where in the hell do people believe the electricity to run Teslas come from ... Unicorn farts?
