Not racist. Culturalist or cultist, if you like. There are inherent problems when incompatible cultures try to mix in a short period of time. I am an American Christian but I have many Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu friends. Our families socialize together and share common values on family and freedom. Syrian immigrants pose a particular problem for Europe where most of the immigrants seem to be single, young males with “dating” norms quite different from single, young European females. It is quite different from assimilating immigrant families.
Same argument has been made here by our kooks.
With Syrians, neither your daughters nor your goats are safe.
With Ukrainians, at least your goats are safe.
Could it be, maybe, that brave Ukrainian men are fighting the invader, sending their wives and children to safety; but, cowardly Syrian men kick and shove women and children to the ground, so they can flee?
Heaven forfend they should be more willing to let in people who have a similar background and who have a good chance of assimilating - particularly if those people are not overwhelmingly military age males - rather than people from a completely alien background who do not share their values and who have demonstrated repeatedly in various Western countries that they will resist assimilation.
Also, anybody who knows Hungary knows it was occupied by the Muslim Ottoman Turks for a century and a half. They are not about to endure another Muslim occupation.
Those “men” should be fighting for the country that gave them all of
them a chance to live & get a degree there.

Invisible racism is still the whiners choice when not getting their way not new a sorry lot if any were.
Interesting that the left is so gung-ho for a war to defend the white people of Ukraine but were demanding that we are not the world’s policemen when it came to arabs and blacks in the Mid East and Africa. But hell, who am I kidding, they won’t even acknowledge the war zone in Chicago...
