They are obsessed with this call because it was a failed coup attempt. Asking if your ex-Vice POTUS broke the treaties and our own laws is not just ok, it’s required by the law. Now we know that Biden did, and the coup attempt was just that, a coup attempt. We could have rid ourselves of this corrupt regime before it happened, legally, but others had plans to protect themselves. Now the entire world, save China, is suffering.

Beginning a statement with the word “obviously”, is an attempt to avoid debate.
It utilizes one of the “appeal to authority” fallacies - in this case, “appeal to consensus”.
It is a cheap shot used by people who know their position is weak.
Another example is “Any educated person will agree that…. “.
This way, if you don’t agree, the implication is that you are not among the uneducated.
