When it comes to Democrat Presidential nominees to the SC, why go through the kabuki theatre of Senate hearing? Just nominate a robot. The Dem appointees are a very cohesive political bunch that have never in the past 50 years gone astray and ruled against marquee Democrat legislative or policy issues. You will never find a Souter, Warren, Stevens, Kennedy, Roberts or O’Connor among them. Law has little to do with it. Just program the robot to follow Kagan or Sotomayer’s lead. And you don’t even have to pay it. Paint it black or brown if you want to play the diversity game.

Yesterday, Sean Hannity took time off from promoting war, so he could have Dr. Oz on his show. Even though he belongs to Opra, he sounded like an un-owned person and was impressive on every problem they talked about. Good luck deciding PA!

I also viewed a good bit of yesterday’s session. Kennedy was worth enduring the plodding of others while Blackburn was an accommodating weak sister. Send Cruz where he may be wanted/needed and may some benevolent soul take Leahy off life support.
Entire roster of Democrat pitchers in the line-up were predictably skilled at tossing floater softballs - if not “air-balls” that crossed the plate with nary a hair put out of place. Other than that, a predictable performance.
