Andrii Yermak, head of the Office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said on Thursday that Ukraine “wants Israel to be one of the countries that will provide a guarantee for any future agreement between Ukraine and Russia.”

In an interview with Kan 11 News, Yermak said that, at the moment, there is no progress in the contacts between his country's representatives and Russia. “I am always skeptical when progress in negotiations is not reported by us or by the Russians but by someone else. We can say there is dialogue, but it continues to be very complicated. The two leaders need to meet.”

“After the war and the occupation, we must understand that what is important for Ukraine are three things: Ending the war, withdrawing Russian forces and creating security for Ukraine. It must be built from scratch with all the players,” he stated.

Yermak alco commented on the possibility of a summit between Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Jerusalem. “I am sure that Naftali Bennett will do everything to make such a meeting successful, let's see if he succeeds. I think it is very important that such a meeting be held in Jerusalem, Israel, which can play a significant role...

No longer trusts EU, Biden, NATO and the other shmucks. Bennett's a shmuck, too. Everyone in any position to do anything is. "International community." Ha. But VZ is a neophyte in many respects. He hasn't learned that yet. Hope I'm wrong. At least I was about Vlad dropping a nuke on Kiev, which is a relief.

Israel realizes that there are very rich and powerful oligarchs in both Russia and Ukraine who have duel citizenship. They have been extremely neutral to this point. How long can that hold with both sides pulling?

Meanwhile, why did Zelensky ask President Biden to hold off on imposing sanctions against Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich? Curious.

Ukraine is full of those pesky humans, and they’re being attacked without mercy by a megalomaniac with nuclear bombs, some of which he got from Ukraine on the promise of peace. They’re fighting back hard, but are outgunned, and innocents are being killed. There’s supposed to be this multilateral international community that’s supposed to guarantee peace, and instead worships power under the sign of the Double Cross, and doesn’t really GAGS despite all their cries of “Slava Ukraina!”. So Ukraine’s President, VZ, turns to one person whom he hopes sincerely wants to help and might actually do something.

Sorry to interrupt. Go on with your cynical musings.

How should I know. News doesn’t happen on TV, just a shadow-puppet game.

They can’t and they shouldn’t. Verify. Then trust tentatively.

You’re on the side of the megalomaniacs who locked us down for two years and are gleeful that the entire planet is about to go into starvation mode except for them in their New Zealand Great Reset escape compounds.

And you believe your are so clever.

Ukraine “wants Israel to be one of the countries that will provide a guarantee for any future agreement between Ukraine and Russia.”

What exactly does that mean?

“What exactly does that mean?”

Ukraine was guaranteed protection when they gave up their nuclear arsenal when the USSR was dismantled. The guarantees came from NATO, the US and Russia. So understandably, they are picky as to who guarantees their security in the future.

Israel needs to tell Zelensky to offer his own guarantees before he pulls in countless other nation leaders into his quagmire. Needs to take care of his Country's business like all countris have to.

What the heck does Israel have to do with this?

Israel has its own problems, including the fact that Russia is the de facto occupier of its neighbor Syria. Israel and Russia have to work together on many projects including stopping radical terrorist groups in Syria and Lebanon, a massive gas pipeline project, and preventing wider regional wars.

I wish Ukraine and Ukrainians well, but I don’t see how Israel has much interest in getting dragged into some security guarantees. They do have relations with Russia so they can help mediate but other than that... I don’t see it. Maybe there is more to it I don’t know.

Ukrainian leadership needs to handle their own countries business - and stop begging and demanding other nations to do it for them.

Russia ought to be the party concerned about Ukraine keeping its end of any deal considering it reneged on the 2015 Minsk Agreement that would have brought peace to Donbass.

Very few things could get him killed. That is one of them. Russia would be North Korea for as long as he is in charge. Any country that bypassed Russian sanctions would have to give up trade with the West.

Zelensky never intended to keep Minsk - and Biden encouraged him not to. It was a stall over and over again - just as he’s stalling now while belly aching he wants to met with RUssia.

Zelensky is fast proving more to b a problem and nusance then one who wants solutions.

Andrii Yermak, head of Zelensky's Pres. Office is no friend to Ukrainian's.

He's a Ukrainian film producer, Zelensky brought on board as he was his entertainment Buddy...more concerned about Pres. Zelensky's press ratings and with no history in diplomacy - which is why he failed with Minsk and others along the way.

Zelensky and his Pres. staff are “shopping” in their world wide tour seeking leadership for someone to give them what they want they are unable to get on their own....using International Leaders like a marketplace.
