Who remembers when CNN, Fox News, and the rest of their cronies in corporate media opposed Neo-Nazis? In fact, calling a Trump supporter (or even President Trump himself) a Nazi was a common practice for regular guests of the most progressive news outlets, including CNN. But with Neo-Nazis making up large chunks of the Ukrainian military, everyone’s suddenly supposed to be okay with it.
Here’s Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledging that the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion has “fully integrated” with the Ukrainian military:

Those units were incorporated into the National Defense structure a couple of years ago. At the time there were all sorts of articles about actually giving them guns an how that might be a bad idea.

We were allies with Stalin at one point. That said, Russia is wrong to invade Ukraine and I don’t think anyone cares if there are a couple of neo-Nazi battalions in the Ukrianian military.

The well-documented war crimes that Azov Nazis have committed against civilians in the Donbas, who are not an invading army, are an entirely different matter.

In fact I have met people from the Eastern blocked countries who considered the Russian soldiers to be heroes who liberated them.. Yet Stalin was every bit the oppressive mass murderer as Hitler.

That being said, I think it was learning disability or malign calculation on the part of the Brandonites to have stumbled into or to have manufactured (not sure which) the current mess.

It only reveals the political chaos, factionalism and regionalism that is the patched-together construct that is Ukraine.
IMO the whole ‘nazi’ charge has become a pejorative to the point of meaninglessness, but when someone identifies themselves as one who are we to argue?
