No, actually it is not. "Weaponization" of biological organisms turns out to be a quite difficult and involved process. Whatever organism is being weaponized must be converted into a form that 1) retrains its biological lethality, 2) is stable on release (until it reaches a viable environment to multiply...usually the lung), 3) is of a particle size that will be breathed in and then lodge in the lung, but not breathed back out on exhale. None of these steps is easy.
Interesting that it went from “NO LABS” to, “Well, some labs” to “Lab, but there were used for GOOD!”

I thought of an idea to prepare for the wuhan coronavirus just by reading in the news that men and older people have more severe cases.
Men have more stored iron than women. Older people have more stored iron than younger people. So the common sense reaction is, maybe we can prepare by not having unnecessary iron.
Since it’s obvious, I searched for who else thought about it. Many people in different countries suggested in scientific publications testing removing iron from the body to treat it.
Blood ferritin can be used to estimate stored iron. If blood ferririn is less than 70 ng/ml, the person has an iron deficiency. If a person has more iron than they need, they can remove blood while keeping their blood ferritin at or above 70 ng/ml. If someone removes 550 ml of blood or donates it, 6 weeks later his blood ferritin is reduced 30 ng/ml.
So tell me how you know your “defensive bioweapons” are good/work if you don’t have any offensive capabilities?
After the fall of the Soviet Union, it was dangerous to be a researcher in viral epidemiology. anyone that was connected to weapons research around the world that tried to go at it without a state sponsor was being watched and if they were thought to be continuing the research, they were killed.... Go back and listen to some of the old art bell radio and this fact was being talked about in 90s on radio. If you think that benign research was being done you are an idiot. the moment that the world stopped watching the scientists powerful people put them back to work. My bet is that most of those working are not cold war era scientists but scientists that graduated in the last 10 years from all over the world. why Ukraine because little or no monitoring and facilities left over from cold war that could be up graded cheaply to do the job.

I seriously doubt they would conduct bioweapon research in Ukraine, for a variety of reasons.
BUT
Their explanation uses weasel words, probably just standard operating procedure. Any pathogen research which develops vaccines, antiserums, monoclonal antibodies, or drugs can be converted into a weapons program in a day or two (presuming a “naked” delivery system already in existence).
There is no reason for NIH or AMRIID to conduct research outside of the US, unless the research is forbidden domestically and they are afraid they could get caught.
The “labs” in Ukraine were most likely money laundering facilities for Members of Congress. The security environment in Ukraine was too poor to purposely do pathogen research there.

Why do you think Ukraine wasn't monitored? Certainly any labs funded by the US were monitored.
ask yourself how old a scientist would be from the cold war today....if they were in there mid 30s when it all fell apart, they would be late 60s today......you are right about speculation on where the scientist come from but its a joke if you think the people working in the labs today are the same group that was there when the cold war ended. I am sure there are some older scientists that are from the cold war era but there are a few. art bell has been dead for 15 years and he stoped his radio show 20 years ago. there is only his achieves to listen to but they are informative along with stuff that is just plain crazy shit that you have to be an idiot to believe. he was internet rumor before the internet exsisted.
