I’m guessing some Officers are headed to the Gulag for this, the defense oriented YouTube channels are reporting that this ship had state of the art anti-missile technology and should have been able to easily deal with one or even multiple low-tech sub-sonic anti-ship missiles. But according to intelligence reports, all the defense and radar systems had been turned OFF at the time the missile struck. Apparently the Russian Officers had been so confident that Ukraine was no threat that they weren’t even bothering to power on their early warning radar and anti-missile systems.
