My house was broken into several years ago on Thanksgiving when I was 20 minutes away at my daughters house. ATT called me and said a sensor was going off. I was having trouble with one sensor on my shop giving false alarms that week.

When I mentioned that she said no, your living room motion sensor was activated and the front door was open. Call the sheriff.

Me and my grandson in law who was at the time what is called an “operator” and had just gotten back from Afghanistan, jumped into my truck and off we went. I drove over the speed limit getting there, but not much faster than I normally drive. Probably 17 minutes.

When we got there we swept the house and was looking at my shop when the sheriff rolled in. When he saw we were both armed, holstered of course, it made him check us out, after all he didn’t know who we were at a crime scene he’d been summoned to.

The guy hit 5 homes out in the area that day. Heroin addict who had just been released that week from jail. Now, with all street drugs containing Fentanyl, people are not safe. That criminal hit homes that the owners were away, today you’ll be more likely to have what happened to this lady in the article than my experience.

Remember, when seconds matter, the police are minutes away. Follow my tagline, the only guarantee of personal safety.
