When asked about Trump, Plouffe said, “I said for some time, and I may end up eating these words, I doubt he ends up running. Because I think, at end of the day, you can see the trend lines. In some focus groups that have been reported on Republicans, even people like him say it’s time for something new. Because they think that is the best route to win. And what is fascinating about the pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago is I believe it’s likely Republicans that are most successful this November, in true swing competitive Senate, Governor and House races, are those that show a little distance from Trump.”

...and I may end up eating these words...The peals of laughter still ring in my ears from 2015 when the entire left bet their lives Trump would not run; then, when he ran, that he would never be the candidate; then, when he became the candidate, that he would never win.

Good! We need young blood in the GOP. And President DeSantis won't hire people that he knows hate his guts (or could know with a f-ing single Google search!). Trump's hiring incompetence undermined his administration, American national security and the global economy. The fact that I can name two dozen of these traitors off the top of my head shows how pathetic he was. And now he is backing the horriric Dr. Oz for Senate.
