Well, DUH!
(not going into the weeds of this)
About 1.42 million Americans were collecting traditional unemployment benefits in the week of April 9, the fewest since February 21, 1970.
So how many are collecting non-traditional unemployment benefits?
Where are all of the workers who lost their jobs because of the pandemic and haven’t returned to work. Are they on some kind of a covid payroll??
huh? well they’re not working for all the ccp bioweapon destroyed small businesses.
Unemployment numbers are skewed in such a way that nothing is real.
The number that matters is — what is the total workforce in raw numbers.
Figures lie, and liars figure.
If this government told me the sky was blue I would walk outside to look. If they said water was wet, or fire burned I would have to stick my hand in water or fire to verify it. They are liars. Everything they say is to be distrusted. I don’t believe this statistic any more than I believe masks work or Safe And Effective (trademark of liars).
The unemployment rates are determined by surveys. When Clinton was in office, he manipulated the rates by moving the surveys away from city centers.
My son is one of many, likely thousands of seasonal workers who were wrongfully categorized as terminated for absenteeism by his former employer. Lowe’s in this case, but I’m sure it’s a fun scam pulled by many big corporations who outsource their HR processes. It prevents workers from qualifying for benefits because on paper it looks like they “quit.”
Most of those seasonal workers don’t realize that they would qualify for unemployment if their employer was honest. The companies save on their insurance rates and the numbers look great to shareholders and the fawning press.
I’m looking into a class action lawsuit, because this is utter and complete corporate bullying.
Mere propaganda. They have given up looking for a job, so no unemployment benefits. There are other government benefits to keep them at home.
