AFT has been a consistent opponent of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and parental rights bills across the country. It was also instrumental in keeping schools shuttered and mask mandates in place throughout the coronavirus pandemic, leaving children with significant physical, social, and mental issues.

For many alphabet people whichever letter describes them becomes the most important focus of their lives. Teachers unions view themselves as the owners of other people’s daughters and sons and, correspondingly, teachers unions believe that they should have complete control over how other people’s daughters and sons are raised.

That is why government schools need to be replaced with direct-to-parents refundable tax credits so that all parents can send their daughters and sons to quality private schools.
