Mystal: Christian Right Want Religious Freedom to Be Bigoted Against LGBTQ Community

The Nation justice correspondent Elie Mystal said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that the Christian right wants religious freedom to be bigoted against the LGBTQ community.

The panel was discussing the Supreme Court, who seems inclined to rule for a Washington state high school football coach who lost his job after he refused to stop praying on the field after games.

“Christian Right” - all Christians should be up front that these alternate gender life styles are contrary to the natural order ordained by God in Creation. Sure the confused person is a creature of God and has the potential of entering the Kingdom of God. They have a choice to believe in Christ and lead a new life or reject it. The LGBTQ lifestyle is not compatible with Christian life.

Not sure what these words can mean. Freedom itself is not an agent and can not be bigoted. So have to think they meant that "the Christian Right" wants freedom in order to be bigoted. But why does somebody need freedom in order to be bigoted? Can't people be bigoted without religious freedom? I mean the Left certainly does not need religious freedom of any kind and certainly they are a the epitome of bigotry.

Yes, Christianity is 'bigoted' against sin.
We are all sinners, and the Good News is that Jesus Christ came to carry our sins away at Calvary, and to give us His Righteousness.
But, being saved is no excuse to continue in sin. We are called out to be Holy (as He Is Holy), and we will fail and stumble, at times, but we are to get up and try to walk in His Way:
