The CNN, MSNBC, etc, TV says it knows what Putin wants...says it can read his mind, too. It told us that Putin wasn’t keeping 3x+ as many Ukrainian troops stuck around Kyiy versus his nearby while his forces were shelling Kyiv but also busy in the south and east and while the TV was fixated upon Kyiv. The TV also said around that time Ukraine still had an airforce and the Ghost of Kiev was on the rampage, but funny thing is, the convoy outside of Kyiv was supposedly a sitting duck but yet was never attacked by said Ukrainian airpower. No way the TV has been lying all of this time!

Major General Rustam Minnekayev, acting commander of Russia's Central Military District, said on Friday that Moscow plans to establish full control over the Donbas region and southern Ukraine, as part of the "second phase" of its military operation.
He also claimed that control of southern Ukraine would give Russia a gateway to the breakaway Moldovan region of Trans-Dniester, where there are "facts of oppression of the Russian-speaking population."

It would be a win for Russia and reduce Ukraine to a hollow shell of itself. I don’t think the USA and NATO will let this happen. This could lead to war —a much bigger war—like WW III. (or is it WW IV?)
