Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” The Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway reacted to former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann being acquitted of lying to the FBI about supposed “collusion” between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia during the 2016 campaign.
Conway said that special counsel John Durham’s probe into the “Russian collusion” hoax should be “headed into the trash can.” He described both the case and investigation as jokes.

The jury was full of people with a clear conflict of interest. It should have been declared a mistrial.
The jury and Justice were jokes, not the crime.

Durham managed to get all the hard evidence against Hilly entered into testimony. Sussman walks because of the place and the jury pool, but we’ll see.

True, but I think the real question is: if all the crimes that Durham could charge are going to be charged in DC courts, and we can expect similar results from any DC court, then why should we waste the time and money to investigate and charge anyone else?
