Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said on Wednesday there is “growing momentum” on gun violence legislation after another bipartisan senators’ meeting on the matter was held earlier that day.
“Today a group of eight bipartisan Senators met to continue negotiations on a gun violence bill that can get a broad, bipartisan vote in the Senate. This follows a similar meeting yesterday,” he tweeted. “There is growing momentum to get something done and we agreed on a plan to keep working.”

To do what they want to do would require a Constitutional amendment. They don’t have enough votes for that. And the citizens will not stand for it.
It’s amazing how much both the executive and legislative branches are willing to do get what they want by ANY means necessary. The left’s favorite method of getting unpopular and controversial things done is to abuse the court system. Other times they simply resort to crime.
Thank god we elect Republicans to defend our rights.

I have a gut feeling if anyone does an in-depth study about this, they’ll find that the Rats are more prone to gun violence than conservatives, who want to preserve law and order.
And I don’t trust the Republicans like Cornyn to not sell out gun owners. He’s only cared about the 2nd amendment when he needed campaign funds.
Democrat and RINO is not really bipartisan.
As the American economy contracts due to the Biden assault on the energy sector, gun violence will increase along with the cost of fuel and electricity.

Here’s the only gun laws I would support.
- Universal background checks only on criminals.
- All security details of Congressmen, senators and the White House are immediately disarmed.

They’re coming for our guns and there ain’t chit we can do about! Only the criminals and those who have committed crimes who were released on bonds will be carrying! The time is coming we are going to have to buy from the underground market! We live on the border so the cartels will be more than happy to make $illions selling firearms to us stupid Americans! UGH!
