Here is yet another government department that has failed. Their job is to prevent another energy crisis.
There are some 16,000 permanent federal employees and over 90,000 contract employees at DOE, most of which are unable to get real jobs in the private sector because they are your typical unionized, overly protected from firing, lazy ass, socialist leaches on the American taxpayer. The federal government has to go into debt and print money to pay for DOE and DOE has failed to do it's primary job. What's worse, they are a root cause inflation and soaring energy prices.
The Fix: Strip out the nuke work that DOE does. Then fully review it's effectiveness and downsize. Given that there have been no new nuclear energy plants in America, they must have failed at doing their job too, thus they are failures too. (Call me a moderate, but I do see a need, particularly a military need, for nuclear research. Thus, part this aspect of DOE should survive.) The rest of DOE should be shuttered.
When the recession starts in the next quarter and unemployment sky rockets, all those lazy ass government employees need to be unemployed too. They are the problem. They didn't do their jobs. They failed.
Abuse a Democrat today.

DOE should only exist to the extent that they increase energy while at the same time decreasing overall costs. That they add nothing of value, but homosexual arrogance (pride), literally means that power hungry angry people with mental illness’ have taken over.

Part of those policies was a tax on distillate fuels to fund research and then production of alternative fuels. Given they’ve been collecting that tax for 50 years, when are we going to see some kind of benefit from those funds?

Was shopping yesterday. Was at Lowe’s. Just walking from area to area for my small purchases——THE massive number of items that contain plastic or are in plastic carrying cases, etc was staggering.
What kind of handles will be on a new screwdriver? NO ONE wants trees cut down-—Plastic won’t be an option???
