“The reality is that, even if all would-be mass public shooters were successfully diverted to the use of ‘non-assault weapons,’ it would likely have no meaningful impact on their ability to kill large numbers of unarmed civilians,” she added in reference to data from Mother Jones’ mass shooting database. “With only a few notable exceptions, such as the Las Vegas shooting in 2018, the type of firearm was simply not a major factor in the ability of mass shooters to cause significant casualties, particularly compared to other important factors such as the time the shooter remained unconfronted by an armed response.”

I think so. The legal definition was something like "if it has two out of four of these attributes."
Note that the federal legal term for "weapon of mass destruction" includes all "destructive device," which includes a rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces.
Congress can deem a bb gun to be an assault weapon. There is nothing below these tyrants. They are protecting their turf in the new world order, and nobody is going to stand in their way.
Ones with multiple features that were on their “list” would be. IIRC, things like a bayonet mount, high capacity magazines over 10 rounds and inclusion of certain foreign made parts.
I’m sure the ban they’ll go for this time will include ‘fixes’ for all the seeming loopholes in the original legislation (their impression of what were loopholes).
They can ‘ban’ them all they want. I’m not going to comply and relinquish what I already legally obtained. They’re just gonna have to come and find them and take them.
It would have been perfectly legal with a thumb hole instead of a pistol grip, had mo threads on the barrel, and no menacing bayonet mount. Because there are so many bayonet charges in duh hood.
