President Joe Biden unleashed another passionate call for gun control, using the bully pulpit of the White House to make his case.
“Nothing has been done,” Biden said. “This time that cannot be true. This time we must actually do something.”
The president spoke about his proposals during a prime-time address from the White House, surrounded by candles representing the victims of mass shootings.
“For so many of you at home, I want to be very clear, this is not about taking away anyone’s guns,” Biden said before announcing he wanted to ban all “assault weapons” including AK-47s and AR-15s as well as magazines holding 30 rounds.

If he says it is central to voting in November, that would be the second high profile Democrat to say something similar. A couple days ago Dick Blumenthal said gun control was on the ballot in November. That’s kind of an admission, to me, that they know they don’t have the votes for it and that it would be political suicide. They want the soundbites to appease the left, But that’s about it.
In 1976, the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police published a position paper on gun control in which it stated “cessation of firearms sales will not remove them from those who can do violence”. Wonder if Joe and other Democrats ought to heed such words.
I’ve been thinking recently about it. Besides being a gun free zone, schools are much more secure than shopping malls, offices, etc. most schools now a day have a system where the front doors are locked with the exception of arrival and dismissal and anyone Hass to be buzzed in. To me, some of these mentally deranged individuals almost take it as a challenge to shoot up a school. It would be a lot easier to walk into a crowded mall or big box store where you could probably do the same amount of damage but it isn’t challenging enough.
And there we have it.

I agree. The Dems should be pushing massively to take away all guns. It’s for the children.
That is one of the few cogent things Joe Biden has managed to mumble out recently. Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats who value their rights as Americans should all be planning on voting in November against any politician who supports gun control or any law which limits the freedoms of Americans.
Make a plan right now to find at least 5 voters and make it your personal job to get them to the polls in November to vote against Democrats.
