President Joe Biden's administration is considering a drawdown of tariffs on Chinese goods in an effort to combat record-high inflation in the U.S.
Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo confirmed the potential move on Sunday, saying Biden has personally asked her team to look into the issue. Inflation in the U.S. hit a 40-year high in March and is expected to escalate in the coming months.
Some of the tariffs, imposed by former President Donald Trump, affect household goods that could be purchased more cheaply from China. Raimondo previously praised some of Trump's tariffs on China as "very effective."

Inflation is the result of our government printing money. Tariffs may cause price increases in some commodities, but inflation affects everything. Stopping tariffs will not stop inflation.

The plan was to steal the election with their Virus and install the man most likely to do the most harm. The lifting of Tariffs is merely a side benefit.
Oil prices do cause other price increases, but this is not inflation. Inflation is printing money, and only the government can do that. Other things besides inflation can cause price increases, like Biden’s stupid fossil fuel policy. But when the government runs up a huge debt, they can’t possibly cover it all by raising taxes. There would be a revolution. So they “create” more money, which dilutes the money supply and reduces the value of the dollar. It’s a hidden tax on everything.

It also looks like they are going to give Russia much if Ukraine so they can end the sanctions on Russian oil.
