Biden's announcement just didn't say whose inflation he is easing, or his people didn't bother to brief him. Tariffs are designed to protect domestic markets and Team Joe, as usual when it comes to U.S. interests, has it quite the opposite.
Of course the Bidenistas will open our markets to China, we have been conquered by China with the betrayal of our coastal mercantile class. One day we will get justice.

Those tariffs benefit the industries...Farmers were one of the big benefactors.
They don’t know what inflation is. It is not the price increases on a few products. It’s the general rise of all prices because the money supply is too large. Freaking idiots.

Tariffs raise revenue, decrease deficits, promotes US industry and employment. A lot of upside to tariffs. That is why the REST OF THE WORLD HAS THEM.

The operative words in the headline and opening paragraph are “may and “are considering”. Further, “a drawdown” is stated.
At best, the pronouncement is wishy washy and actually says nothing.
Meanwhile, American and companies of other major nations are leaving China. The fact is, many have already picked up stakes and left.
However, they are moving operations to Vietnam, Indonesia and some say Mexico.
