“Asians and Hispanics solidly against him. Whites were evenly divided.”

This is racist because that leaves the black vote. They need to count the black vote at a 4:1 ratio to equal things out.

“and Perot did his job well ... twice ...”

Yeah, he swung the vote from one globalist to another.

From sfgate:

Even though the mayor’s office has not begun its search in earnest, it is already considering three candidates in particular, according to the official

Catherine Stefani, District 2 Supervisor
Nancy Tung, a former prosecutor who ran against Boudin in 2019
Brooke Jenkins another former prosecutor who emerged as a leading Boudin recall supporter

All three have expressed interest in the job and present themselves as more tough on crime than Boudin. Other candidates will also emerge during the process as Breed speaks to members of the community and legal experts, the official said.

San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin just got recalled. What happens now?

One has to wonder how much of that percentage has never actually voted for anything, but has a vote cast in their name?

Ok.. so they’ll simply replace him with someone even more whacko. It’s San Francisco — count on them to do the predictable.

There is almost always a 25% wack-job percentage in any poll, add welfare parasites and gov workers and that brings it up even more.

People who pay upwards of $2 million for a fixer-upper in SF - only to find out they have homeless camped out in front of their homes, using the sidewalk as a toilet, shooting up in front of their children and screaming racial and sexual things at them every time they leave their home - have had enough (this is a real scenario, BTW, I have immediate family in the city and have seen this).

Even über-lefty virtue signalers have their limit.

Maybe in time SF will once again become a wonderful, safe place to visit, as it once was.

One can dream and hope...

They didn’t notice them when they were negotiating the contract and moving towards closing? They just “find out” later? Did they buy it sight unseen? One born every minute.

> Note that nearly 40% wanted him to stay.

I am surprised it's that low.

I believe the Bay Area always seemed to be way out left, even when Reagan was Governor, it certainly seemed like that to me whenever I have been there.

I have always thought of San Francisco being just like Austin, except with nicer weather, more scenic views, and more homeless people.

My guess is the real estate company managed to move them out “temporarily” and they moved right back in.

Happens in Los Angeles all the time - we’re told by the media that the freeway overpasses (or Venice Beach, etc.) have been cleared of homeless - only to have them reappear within days.

But then how do you incentivize the putative seller to sell? He’ll hear this shpiel, too, and take it off the market. Don’t tell me he’s colluding with the realtor.

Back in the early 70s, after college graduation, I stayed at a friend’s apt in Haight Ashbury for a few months, and went back to NYC to get a real job.

My Sister lived in Marin Cty, on Mt Tamalpais, where she (RN-NP) and her husband (neurosurgeon) bought a $75,000 home, and she sold it in 2013 for $1.3m, and moved back here to York, PA.

Everyone else I know who lived in CA, has left for other states. It’s turned into a real shithole.
